To prepare students for the local Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) and beyond with school-based support on areas such as stories appreciation, film appreciation, and social issues analysis

All S5 students will sit in the TOEIC examination --- The Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC), which is an international standardised test of English language proficiency for non-native speakers, and is designed to measure the everyday English skills of people working in an international environment. The certificate will be valid for two years.

A group of S5 and S6 students will study and take the IELTS --- International English Language Testing System (IELTS) [academic] --- after school. IELTS is an international standardised test of English language proficiency for non-native English language speakers. The test is accepted by most academic institutions overseas and various professional organisations across the world as entry requirement. The certificate will be valid for two years.
