Application Guidelines
Selection criteria and weightings:
- Academic performance in primary school (including academic results, prizes and Rank Order (provided by EDB)) (40%)
- Interview performance (30%)
- Extra-curricular activities and awards (20%)^
- Conduct (10%)
^ Applicants with outstanding performance in extra-curricular activities may receive extra bonus points.
1)Application form
The form ‘Application for Admission to Secondary One’ can be obtained from the school office during office hours or downloaded from the school website http://www.lwfss.edu.hk
2)Application submission details
- Submission in person
Please submit the completed application form and relevant documents to our school office. Applicants are reminded to bring along their HKID card or the original birth certificate for identity verification.
Application period: 2nd January, 2026 (Friday) to 16th January, 2026 (Friday)
School hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:30 pm
Saturday 8:00 am to 12:30 pm
- Submission through the SSPA e-platform
Applications can be submitted through the EDB SSPA e-platform starting from 2nd January, 2026 to 16th January, 2026. Relevant documents are required to be uploaded.
3)Documents in relation to the application:
- The completed form ‘Application for Admission to Secondary One’ of Lung Kong World Federation School Limited Lau Wong Fat Secondary School;
- the completed Application Form of EDB for Secondary One Discretionary Places (including School Copy, and EDB Copy);
- applicant’s HKID card copy;
- two self-addressed envelopes (each with the student’s name and address clearly written on it and a HK$2.2 stamp affixed);
- report cards: Primary 5 (Full academic year) and Primary 6 (First term); and
- copies of Extra-curricular / Cocurricular activities certificates
4)The number of discretionary places in our school is 40 (subject to change depending on EDB’s policy).
5)Interview arrangement
- Interviews will be conducted on 7th March, 2026 (Saturday).
- Each applicant will receive an interview notification letter from our school one or two weeks before the

6)Parents of all successful applicants will be notified by phone and letter on 31st March, 2026 (Tuesday), and the SSDP results will be released on 7th July, 2026 (Tuesday).
Application for Admission to Secondary One (2026/27)
Transfer Student Admission Application for the 2025/2026 Academic Year
Phase Three:
- Application Date: Starting from 27th November, 2025 (Thurs) to 31st January, 2026 (Sat) 5:00 p.m.
i) Forms can be requested at the school office during office hours: - Monday to Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
ii) Application forms can be downloaded from the Admission section of the school website. - Please submit the completed application form along with the following documents to the school office for processing:
- Completed application form
- Photocopies of the student's transcripts for the past two years
- Photocopies of any certificates, extracurricular activity proof, or awards (if applicable)
3.Written test & Interview Arrangements
- To ensure equal opportunities for all student applicants to participate in the admission process, students with complete documentation will be invited to take a written test. Applicants will be notified by phone regarding details such as the test date, time and other arrangements of the written test.
- Application fee: HK$50.
- After the written test, shortlisted students will be notified to attend an interview by phone. If the applicant has not received a notification after two weeks, his/her application is deemed unsuccessful.
